Hopes & Dreams

Life is a mission for the brave ones—the days where we feel strong and even the days where we feel weak, but choose to keep going in the face of fear, sadness, and defeat.

Sickness and challenges come often, but we handle them with grace and grit. We focus on living day to day without trying to guess or control the future too much. It’s not always easy, it’s almost never perfect, but at the end of the day we have to trust we’re doing the best we can with what we have; not only to give, but to receive too.

Seasons change, chapters end, but our stories are always being written; filled with adventures of painful loss, unconditional love, and infinite connection.

Fairness and love are always in play as we hold space in our hearts and our souls for the future that continues to unfold. Bravery and forgiveness are ever present to love the pieces of our past that continue down the long, windy road of our inner rear view mirrors. Memories to savor, lessons to appreciate, and love to never stop sharing.

In ten years, we will be wiser, calmer, and less worried about what other people think of us. The present faint pink scars of our wounds will then be like the callouses on the palms of hardworking hands that have stories to tell, pain to let be, wisdom to pay forward, and truths to forever hold on to—some to share and some for our safe keeping.

Boundaries like the white fences keeping the horses in pasture—enough room to run free, but a kind reminder of how to find your way back home without traveling too far off the beaten path. May we be surrounded by the warmth of the sun, the light of the moon, and the peace of nature. Less technology and more time on our yoga mats.

What our practice will look like in ten years, we don’t know quite yet. What I do know is that it will forever be the place where our hands meet the earth, our soul meets our angels, our heart meets our deepest truths, and our bodies find their way home again and again.

The space where joy is cherished and pain is processed. The place we go to fill ourselves back up so that we can show up in this world fully alive, ready to love, and willing to grow.

xoxo,

Ki
